Marcela was born and raised in the capital city of Honduras, Tegucigalpa. Santa Lucia is a small town about 15-20 minutes away from the capital city. It is known to be "the Romantic town of Central America."

Marcela and Matt picked this town for the ideal setting for their wedding because they want their guests coming from all over the world to capture the beauty of Honduras through Santa Lucia.
